What will I learn in MPI's Phlebotomy Technician program?The Phlebotomy Technician program teaches students the proper techniques of venipuncture and skin-puncture, body fluid collection, specimen processing, some lab tests, anatomy and physiology, and medical terminology. Graduates of the program should have the ability to successfully collect and process specimens using proper protocol and procedure. What happens after I graduate?MPI's student support services assists students with their job search after they graduate. Graduates also have the unique opportunity to work with Medical Professional Staffing (MPS) to be placed in a job in their medical field. Graduates will be prepared both to work in a health care setting at an entry level, and to sit for national certification examinations in phlebotomy. Schedule
