About the program
This program prepares individuals to perform administrative tasks in a medical office, such as completing and maintaining medical records, welcoming patients and determining the specific nature of their medical needs, and billing and coding. Students also learn how to perform general office functions such as answering the phone, scheduling, and carrying out other clerical duties as needed.The objective of this program is to prepare students to perform the administrative tasks necessary to operate a health care facility efficiently. Graduates will be able to apply for entry-level positions in various health care settings. Upon completion of the program, students will be able to:
What happens after I graduate?MPI's student support services assists students with their job search after they graduate. Graduates also have the unique opportunity to work with Medical Professional Staffing (MPS) to be placed in a job in their medical field. Graduates will be prepared both to work in a health care setting at an entry level, and to sit for national certification examinations in phlebotomy. Schedule
