What is an emergency room technician?An emergency room technician is an individual who assists and supports emergency room nurses and doctors in the performance of procedures in the emergency or urgent care department in providing health care to patients. What will the Emergency Room Technician Program do for me?The program focuses on teaching the necessary knowledge and skills needed for an entry-level emergency room technician. Upon completion of the program, the student will be able to:
What happens after I graduate?MPI's student support services assists students with their job search after they graduate. Graduates also have the unique opportunity to work with Medical Professional Staffing (MPS) to be placed in a job in their medical field. Graduates will be prepared both to work in a health care setting at an entry level, and to sit for national certification examinations in phlebotomy. Schedule
