About the program
What will I learn in MPI's EKG Technician program?The Electrocardiography (EKG) Technician Program introduces students to health care settings, human anatomy and physiology, CPR & first aid, and the modern electrocardiogram techniques. Graduates of the program should have the ability to successfully perform EKG and to recognize normal and common abnormal EKGs. What happens after I graduate?MPI's student support services assists students with their job search after they graduate. Graduates also have the unique opportunity to work with Medical Professional Staffing (MPS) to be placed in a job in their medical field. Graduates will be prepared both to work in a health care setting at an entry level, and to sit for national certification examinations in electrocardiography. Schedule
