As Medical Professional Institute (MPI) prepares to enter its second decade as a leading Boston-area medical training facility, it has become apparent that our recent growth needs to be accommodated by an upgrade of facilities and office space. For the past several months, MPI has undertaken negotiations for the purchase of the Leonard School building, located at 380 Pleasant Street--just next door to Malden Professional Building (388 Pleasant Street), which has been home to MPI since 2001. While Malden Professional Building has served as an excellent home to MPI for seven years, the increase both in the student body size and in the number of certificate programs over the last two years has resulted in a need for more classrooms, faculty offices, and student facilities such as computer labs and lounges.November 3, 2008 marked the first full day of MPI's occupation of the Leonard School building. MPI's offices are located on the second floor, in Suite 21. The move has opened up more room for expansion and growth at our original building, located at 388 Pleasant Street. The additional classroom space now available there will allow for more efficient management of class schedules and organization of students among programs. MPI's new office address is 380 Pleasant Street, Suite 21, Malden, MA 02148. |
